wish to become a member of the Adirondack Cooperative Economy (ACE) and herewith attach my US$25 annual membership fee. I understand this allows me to become a decision making member of ACE and entitles me to receive 25 Adirondack Bucks. At any point I may purchase further Adirondack Bucks by mail or in person with check or cash. I may “earn” Bucks from the organization in various ways to be announced. ACE decisions will be made by consensus at monthly member‘s meetings. The time and location of each meeting will be announced at the end of the previous meeting, through personal Emails and listed on the Facebook page and Webpage (please look). Minutes of these meetings and financiaI status of the organization is also available on the webpage. I also understand that my Adirondack Bucks are only redeemable for goods and services offered by other members of the ACE or any other party willing to accept them. ACE will not redeem them for $US. The Adirondack Cooperative Economy lists goods and services available on their website. Each member is responsible for updating her/his offerings in person at meetings or by Email or Snailmail to the addresses above. ACE will never charge or pay interest on its currency or accounts.
